The arrival airport and meeting point are in Guatemala City (GUA).
The first day of the program (Day 1) marks the start of the adventure. You will therefore need to arrive at least one day before and arrange your first night in Guatemala City. We will provide recommendations for this.
The last day of the program (Day 10) marks the end of our services. These conclude in Flores after breakfast. This gives you the flexibility to extend your stay and arrange your return independently.

The adventure starts now. Head to Lake Atitlán, considered one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. Explore the village and meet the Tz’utujil, a local community known as some of the finest weavers in the world.

Briefing and backpack preparation for the Acatenango trek. Introduction to the guides and porters. A 4 to 5-hour hike is required to reach base camp at 3,500 meters above sea level. Observation of volcanic eruptions and overnight stay at the camp.

Wake up before dawn and a short ascent to reach the summit of the volcano. The most beautiful sunrise of your life awaits you at 3,976 meters.
Return to Antigua and enjoy a well-deserved rest.

Semuc Champey is one of the most beautiful natural parks in Central America. It is made up of a series of waterfalls cascading through the forest, forming numerous natural pools in the rock. Cave exploration, hiking, and swimming await you.

Very early wake-up to cover the 295 km separating us from Flores. A true favorite, this small almost island-like town in the Petén region is located near some of the country’s greatest Mayan sites. It offers a peaceful atmosphere along the shores of Lake Petén Itzá. Its colorful streets, local cuisine, and the warm hospitality of its people make this place truly magical.

Before departure, we remind you that it is important to take out good travel insurance that guarantees coverage of medical expenses and, if necessary, repatriation in case of a serious issue. With this insurance, medical care is covered (including tests), and a doctor will liaise with the insurance provider to determine whether repatriation is required. Make sure to keep all test results and any related invoices.
The national currency is the Quetzal. It is more advantageous to withdraw cash rather than exchange money. ATMs are widely available.
